Computer Instructor(s)**:
This position requires a strong knowledge of Window based programs. It also
requires the ability to teach computer skills to students with minimal computer
knowledge. Slots available on Mon, Tues, Thurs and / or Fri 5pm - 6:30pm
Cultural Arts / Music Instructor(s)**:
This position requires knowledge in one or more areas of art or music. Instructor
must be available at least one evening per week for 4 weeks from 5:30pm
- 6:30pm
** Curriculum will be developed by Instructor and approved by Ash Tree Organization, Inc. Staff.
Tutor(s): This position requires knowledge in at least one of the following subjects: Math, English, History and/or Science. Tutor will work one on one or in small groups with Youth ages 8-16 depending on availability. Tutors are asked to commit to 2-4 hours on a Mon, Tues, Thurs and/or Fri from 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Mentor(s): Mentors will be matched with a Youth to build a relationship on trust, friendship and respect. Mentors are asked to commit to at least 2 hours per week of time with a Youth in the Ash Tree Program. Mentoring will take place onsite.
Receptionist(s): This position requires professional phone skills, a positive attitude and some computer experience. Needed weekdays, call with available days and hours.
Meal-A-Month: Prepare and deliver one meal a month for twenty-five participants
Motivational Speaker: Address groups of teenage participants and or their families giving an inspirational message or new information. Speaking may be on time or regularly scheduled engagements.
Group Leader: Assist with the presentation of group activities.
Handy Man / Custodian: Perform minor repairs on a needed basis and provides janitorial services
Volunteers are asked to commit to at least three (3) hours per month.
