Savannah Youth Works is an initiative of the City of Savannah. Through partnership with the Ash Tree Organization, Inc., America's Second Harvest, Union Mission, St. Paul's CME, and Savannah Technical College, young men and women are offered job skills, education and training.

Culinary Arts and Building Trade skills are taught in 15 to 60 week courses that prepare young adults for employment in the food industry and the construction trade.

Young Adult Participants Receive:

  • Certificate from Savannah Vocational Technical College (upon successful completion of the program)
  • Bi-Weekly stipends
  • Bonus stipends from GED and job attainment
  • 2 week orientation
